Why We Race

Mary's Story

I’ve lost an aunt to breast cancer and over the years, some of my very best friends on my team have gone through a diagnosis. While I hate adding names to my Race bib, I know the money I raise supports crucial work to help find the cures to end breast cancer.

-Mary R.

Shirts/Packet Pick-up

2025 Race Shirt

Every registered participant will receive an event T-shirt. Shirts for survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will be in special colors to recognize their role in our event.

Participants who register by Sunday, May 4, 2025 will have their shirts mailed prior to Race day, without exception. Those who register after can get their shirt at Packet Pick-up or on Race morning.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick Up will be inside the Registration Tent at North Bank Park. You will find this tent at the corner of Neil Ave and W Spring St inside the grass area of the park. Please note packet pick up will not be in the pavilion this year!

North Bank Park
311 West Long Street, Columbus, OH 43215
May 16, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Shirt sizes at Packet Pick-Up(s) and on Race morning are not guaranteed.

Race Bibs

Every registered participant will receive a 2025 commemorative race bib. All participants that plan to participate in the 5k or 1 mile course must wear a race bib AND be registered due to safety and liability. Spectators are welcome to join you on race morning but must stay on the race site.

Those who register for the Columbus Race for the Cure by Sunday, May 4, 2025 will receive their race bib, along with their race t-shirt, in the mail prior to race day, without exception. Those who register after May 4, 2025 can get their race bib and t-shirt at Packet Pick-up or on Race morning.

If you select “running” at registration, you will receive a gray bib. If you select “walking” at registration, you will receive a white bib. If you have selected to be recognized as a survivor or someone living with MBC at registration, you will receive a pink bib. We ask that anyone with a “running” gray bib goes to the front of the line to allow for all runners to take off safely before the walkers.

There will NOT be a timing chip option for the 2025 Columbus Race.
