Become a Komen Advocate
Our advocates are the voice of more than 4 million breast cancer survivors and those currently living with breast cancer in the U.S.
Through advocacy, we ensure that the fight against breast cancer remains a top priority among state and national policymakers. Our advocates help shape key legislation, like #HB2366 in Hawaii, which eliminates patient out-of-pocket costs for necessary breast imaging. Advocates like our MBC Steering Committee member and Walk Team Captain, Julia Hughes, also help push for proclamations such as MBC Awareness Day in Honolulu, helping raise awareness for those living with metastatic breast cancer.
