About Bowl for the Cure®
The mission of Bowl for the Cure® is to promote breast cancer awareness through the sport of bowling. This is achieved through our major yearly initiatives – Bowl for the Cure Month in February, the Meet for the Cure® presentation at USBC Convention in April, Bowl for the Cure Week at the Women’s Championships and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
One of our inspirational and dynamic events is Meet for the Cure® at USBC Convention. Working with Susan G. Komen®, we educate delegates on breast cancer, highlight our community’s fundraising accomplishments and honor those we have lost, those still facing and those who have survived in a touching pink glow stick ceremony.
Bowl for the Cure® continues to reach USBC members to champion survivors, promote awareness, and increase funding for the fight against breast cancer.
USBC invites everyone to BOWL PINK by hosting or participating in a Bowl for the Cure event in your area to raise funds to create a world without breast cancer. Learn more about how you can make a difference and raise funds to create a world without breast cancer.
While we’re proud of our work that we do at the national level, it’s really the efforts and enthusiasm of bowlers across the country that make Bowl for the Cure what it is today. Together, we are working to accomplish a vision that we all share: a world without breast cancer.
