The Susan G. Komen Center for Applied Research (CfAR) aims to provide meaningful intelligence that will contribute to the body of scientific evidence about breast cancer and drive equitable, impactful change throughout the breast cancer continuum of care. Through innovative public health and program research, assessment, and evaluation, the CfAR seeks to better understand the real-world problems people face when navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, and to improve the experiences of breast cancer patients, survivors, co-survivors, caregivers and undiagnosed individuals.
