Komen is committed to providing a collaborative, educational space for those living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Because of this, we are excited to announce our partnership with CURE® for their Educated Patient Updates (EPU) series. This series will support and empower the MBC community; including patients, caregivers and healthcare providers; with the latest updates on research outcomes and treatments available. Event participants will have an opportunity to engage with leading experts, connect with peers and access invaluable resources tailored for individuals living with MBC.
These EPUs will consist of ongoing, in-person events at various locations throughout the year. By providing accessible information and peer-to-peer support within local communities, these events can help foster a vital network within this unique and often isolated community.
Ending breast cancer needs collaboration and research, and through these EPUs, we can ensure the collective voice of the MBC community is heard, and its needs are met.
