Registration Open to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer
Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, today announced that it will hold a MORE THAN PINK Walk in Denver, Colo., this fall on Sunday, October 23, 2022, in a new location at the Civic Center Park, the civic and cultural heart of Denver.
Civic Center Park is Denver’s only national historic landmark and is the perfect setting for the return of the MORE THAN PINK Walk.
“We are excited to be able to return in person this year and grateful for the opportunity to provide a community for anyone who has been impacted by breast cancer. Whether you are in treatment, celebrating survivorship, or a family member, friend or loved one, we hope you will join us on Sunday, October 23, and be part of our collective efforts to end breast cancer forever,” said Jill Fricker, State Executive Director of Colorado at Susan G. Komen.
“We welcome all the members of our breast cancer community honoring friends, family and anyone who has been impacted by the disease,” said Fricker. “The MORE THAN PINK Walk is about making strides toward curing breast cancer and the funds raised through funds raised by participants and sponsorships will give more individuals who have been impacted by the disease access to resources and the support they need now.”
This year, Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is a sponsor of the Komen MORE THAN PINK WALK.
The Power of ONE Week – a week’s worth of events to honor those who have been impacted by breast cancer – will precede the Walk starting on Monday, October 17, 2022. A schedule of in-person and virtual events and additional details will be announced soon.
