Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, today announced that the 2022 Komen East Pennsylvania MORE THAN PINK Walk will be held at Parx Casino ® in Bensalem, PA. By partnering with Parx Casino®, Komen will be able to offer a larger, family-friendly space for Walk participants to gather together.
“We are excited about this new partnership with Parx Casino ® and the generous support it is providing for this year’s MORE THAN PINK Walk,” said Suzanne Corson, state executive director for Pennsylvania. “For the first time ever, there is no fee to participate in the Walk, and we hope that will allow even more survivors, thrivers and those impacted by breast cancer to participate.”
The MORE THAN PINK Walk will take place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 2022. Parx Casino® will offer free, on-site parking and host the Walk on its legendary thoroughbred racetrack at Parx Racing®. The venue is conveniently located off I-95, US Route 1 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike just outside of Philadelphia, in Bensalem Bucks County.
