Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, today announced that it will hold a MORE THAN PINK Walk in Hudson, Ohio this fall on September 17, 2022. The Walk will be held at a new location – JOANN World Headquarters at 5555 Darrow Road in Hudson, Ohio. JOANN is the Presenting Sponsor of the 2022 Northeast Ohio MORE THAN PINK Walk.
“We are excited to welcome Walk participants in person this year and grateful for the opportunity to provide a community for anyone who has been impacted by breast cancer. Whether you are in treatment, celebrating survivorship, or a family member, friend or loved one, we hope you will join us in September and be part of our collective efforts to end breast cancer forever,” said Sean Shacklett, State Executive Director of Ohio & Michigan at Susan G. Komen.
The Northeast Ohio MORE THAN PINK Walk will take place on September 17, 2022. This year will once again be back together in person to support breast cancer patients and their families in our community. We will also offer a virtual Walk experience for those that feel more comfortable selecting that participation option. It is our goal to be as inclusive as possible to all in Northeast Ohio.
The Power of ONE Week – a week’s worth of events to honor those who have been impacted by breast cancer – will precede the Walk on September 17th. A schedule of in-person and virtual events and additional details will be announced soon.
