Hello to the sisterhood and community of all survivors. I’m very grateful for this supporting organization as a place to connect with others and tell my story and to know we never fight alone.

I’m Aim, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2021 right in the heart of this crazy covid virus. The hardest part of my journey was feeling isolated and alone due to covid and alll the health care protocols For the first time in my life I felt so alone.

I had surgery, and radiation. And hopefully now Im on a path to healing.

Those who were recently diagnosed I know its shocking and scary, I would try to stay focused on the facts first and gain all the knowledge you can by getting second opinions and doing lots of research with organizations like this one that help with support. Find the best medical oncologist you feel most comfortble with. One who talks to you, not at you

Sometimes it’s hard but it’s important to talk about your diagnosis with others it helps with embracing all on your new plate now. Learn to lean on ones that you trust for love and emotional support and know that it’s okay to let go and lean on your friends and family It’s very humbling; because no matter how strong and independent women we are, its still okay to ask for help and support. Please know that you are much stronger and braver then you think you are.

I’m grateful for family and true friends and blessed for meeting so many new sisters who walk this same path as I do. All I can say is never gjve up and to feel blessed every day to wake up with the sun and to just live in the present. Enjoy life, and embrace each day as it comes. We all know how fragile life can be in a NY minute

Sending all of you love and prayers.

One day soon there will be a cure as long as we never stop yelling for one!
Have faith,
Aim
