Being Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

I’m 54 years old, and was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Cancer stage one. It was very heartbreaking when I was diagnosed. I didn’t know what my life was going to be like, but I prayed to God, to give me strength, wisdom, and courage. I already had faith that God would see me thru this. I had surgery in September, and had my first chemo on October 1st. I was sick that following night, but feel better. Eating food taste so much different, but I’m eating much healthier now. I didn’t have to have my breast removed, because it was caught early. I have 3 more chemo doses to take, then radiation. Losing my hair has been the hardest. God is so amazing, and I thank God for who is, and just being by my side. We have to continue to have faith in our almighty God, because he’s a healer. Be strong ladies.
