My journey

Breast cancer was my second bout with the “Big C”. 20 years ago this Nov. I had uterine cancer and I kicked its backside with no chemo or radiation. This April I went for my routine mammogram and they found a lump so small that the surgeon didn’t feel and neither did I. A biopsy, 1 surgery and 20 treatment later I kicked cancer in the booty again.

Cancer and twice and twice I beat it like a champ. I attribute it to early detection. If I hadn’t had gone for testing for both I may not be here today. I always tell everyone that just a few minutes of uncomfortable has saved my life twice.
