I went in for my regular mammogram Dec. 2015. I got the call to go back for a follow up. Went back the first week of Jan. 2016 for a mammogram and ultrasound on a Tuesday. Had my biopsy the following day and got the phone call that Friday. Had my surgery Jan 27, 2016. Went through 4 rounds of chemo and then radiation. I finished my treatments on July 27th which was my 6 month mark. I did my first breast cancer walk in between my 3rd and 4th chemo treatments. As have this date, I am still cancer free. September 27th will be 20 months.
