I an 41. I would never even give cancer a second thought. I am too young to have breast cancer. They don’t even recommend a mammogram until 45-50. I went in due to some localized pain in my right breast. My first mammogram. Didn’t come back all clear. First biopsy -inconclusive. MRI – STILL inconclusive. Another more evasive biposy. Finally a conclusive result. Early DCIS on left side, but spread all over. My mastectomy is this Friday…. I keep thinking, what if I waited until 45?! Don’t wait. Get a mammogram now.
