Routine mammogram found my cancer

Hi everyone. My journey began at the end of June 2023 after a routine mammogram which turned into another of my left breast, then a stereotactic biopsy, lumpectomy, then sentinel biopsy. The lumpectomy revealed IDC and the sentinel biopsy showed benign. I’m Er+, Pr+, Her-. Starting hormone blocker treatment after I have 16 radiation treatments. My advice is don’t skip your mammograms!!! I skipped 2 years during Covid and regret it now. A mammogram is definitely unpleasant but having breast cancer is way worse!!!
