2 years ago I lost my job of 25 years and was diagnosed with breast cancer within the same week. The day I received my diagnosis I went home, ears ringing, head and heart pounding and simply thought… everything has changed. Literally. Everything. Has. Changed. Then I got up, stared in the mirror and said ‘YOU can do this.’ I hd to say it out loud. And I did! We are stronger than we ever imagined when that moment arrives.
