I had a client (I did her Quickbook stuff) who became a dear friend. During our friendship she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought hard, had to have a mastectomy & with the help of family and friends – she went into remission. Then a few years later her cancer came back with a vengeance and she lost her fight. Family lost their wife, mom, grandma and I lost my friend. I designed a special tattoo that I wear on my forearm for her and I do have other ribbons inside that ribbon for those I’ve lost to other cancers. She is one of many I walk for – I miss her – Kathleen Rankin
