I missed my mammogram for two years because I was young and didn’t think anything like this could happen to me. I went in for my mammography in 1997 at Baker Hospital. I knew the people that did my mammogram because I have worked with them.
The person that did the mammogram took a while before she came back. I was a little upset because I had to go back to work. So finally she came back and said she had to do some more x-rays – so she did it about 20 minutes.
She came back and told me that the radiologist would like to speak to me. He then informed me that they had found some spots in my lymph nodes. I didn’t get upset because I believed in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he was in charged. I have been in remission for 11 years!
