Sheri Remington

My story of strength goes to my beautiful mother, and my amazing daughter. My mother and I went through breast cancer at the same time. She was diagnosed in June 08 and myself in Dec 08. My mom lost her battle with triple negative breast cancer March 6, 2009, on the day of my last chemo treatment. I know she was holding on to be sure I was going to be ok. Heartbroken with the loss of my sweet mom, I continued my own battle with er/pr positive breast cancer with a double mastectomy, followed by multiple surgeries over the next year for reconstruction, with my amazing daughter by my side. Sept 26, 2015 my daughter and I ran the Race for the Cure, it was our 7th annual. We will run it every year in honor of my sweet mom with love. We love you so much mom, we run for you!
